Faithful Friends

DevonRex – Thomas died at the age of 5 on the 27/10/05 from eating snail bait. Missed incredibly from our household. Now that he’s gone it feels so empty and we all miss his warmth and gentle nature. Every night he’d hop into bed with me and snuggle up for the night. His playful side entertained me for hours on end. I always had someone to come home to, someone to show me affection. He came to us as a kitten of 11 weeks, and we fell in love with him at first sight.

Will be forever remembered and will always be in our hearts.

Ned: Born 22 May 1998. Passed away 7 July 2006.

Staffy: Ned died 7th July 2006 at the age of 8. He was a very big part of the Hutchison household in Nowra NSW and he is missed dearly. He was sick with a tumour and we had to end his suffering and pain. I only hope that he is up in heaven running around with lots of friends, waiting to be reunited with us all one day. He was 8 years old to the day. We got him on the 7th of July 1998 and he died on 7th July 2006. I didn’t realise this until a few days later.

A happy and cheeky boy. He reminded me of a brindle coloured wombat. With his little grunting noises he’d make he always made me laugh. My Maltese dog Bella is missing him so much. They were the best of pals that were joined at the hip for almost three wonderfully happy years.

We miss you and love you always Neddy boy…We will meet again one day….

Born November 1996, passed away peacefully aged 9 years 7 months. She came to live with us at 6 weeks old, January 1997, from the pet shop. An adorable staffy x mastiff puppy, with adorable big brown eyes, floppy ears. Full of life, energy, getting into mischief. She loved toys, food, drives in the car. Always ready to give kisses and have tummy rubs. She loved us totally, unconditionally.

Thursday July 13 2006, she passed away from bone cancer. We were with her when she went to sleep, painlessly, peacefully. Tuesday 18 July, she was cremated, finally coming home Thursday 20 July 2006. Our beautiful girl sadly missed.

Monty – a Lost Dogs’ Home dog adopted in 1993, and passed away peacefully at home in the loving arms of his Dads July 2006.
Much loved and missed.

Frankie was born 24 August 1996 and died 11 July 2006 aged 9 years 10 months. My mother bought Frankie as a gift for my daughter when she was 4 years old. She had chosen a Pug because “Burke’s Backyard” rated Pugs as the best dog for small children. Frankie was 6 months old when he came to live with us. He was bred by RE & CA Ward, Brisbane. His registered name was Pugward Franklyn. He was with us for 9 years.

Frankie was suddenly taken away from us after a kick from a pony. He was most loyal to my daughter, Danielle, and was her constant shadow. Frankie was a proud working dog and such a loving friend to all. He lived for drives in the horse jogger with Danielle where he could sit on her lap and gaze into her eyes.

He’ll be forever missed.
