Rowsley

A Blenheim Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

17/6/2000 – 24/9/2010. (10 years 3 months)

Her mother was a “rescue” dog who was found to be pregnant with 3 babies. As
we have had Cavalier King Charles Spaniels in the family for more than 40
years and had two at the time it was not difficult to help out and take one
of the puppies – Rowsley. She has always been a quiet and well behaved girl
loved by us. She may not have seen or heard everything but would always see
and bark at the animals on the television, which she would watch from her
bed. Earlier this year we added to the family a Ruby puppy girl and Rowsley
enjoyed a play and teased her with the squeaky toy (a red devil). She would
pinching it from the pup and showing it to her and quickly twisting her head
away so that the pup could not get it. She would also squeak it at the pup.

“Another beautiful girl who wagged her tail until the day she went to play
with all the other old & beautiful Cavalier King Charles Spaniels”.

rowsley

She is missed, but will always be remembered.

Our darling Rebecca – Becky

We had you since the day you came into this world on 24th October 1997,
along with your 4 brother’s and sisters. You were the cutest of the lot!
So fluffy and huge ears!

You brought so much happiness to Mum’s life, especially when times were
tough. You were always so happy to see her and never left her side. She
misses you so much.

When you got sick, we never thought it would be the end, you were always
so healthy and happy.

That morning on the 2nd, when we knew your time had come, we could see
it in your eyes. Driving to the vet, having you look at me, I knew you
were saying thank you and goodbye.

That was the hardest day of my life so far, so I thought, but everyday
since has been just as hard to not have you here. Chloe and Jackie still
look for you if we say your name.

We miss you terribly and can’t wait til the day we meet again. Love you
darling girl xoxo

Smudge

In May 2001 Smudge was born I bred him myself and he was a Blue Merle Border Collie and he had the softest and gentliest nature of all my Border Collies, so loosing him so early at the age of 8yrs 7months was extremely hard on our family, he loved my granddaughter and she called him Mudgie because she couldn’t say his name properly.

I will never get over loosing him as for 2years we tried to find out what was wrong, in the end and when it was too late they finally told us he had an auto immune system dissorder and unfortunately they could do nothing he passed away on the 21/12/09 four days before Xmas.

I know this is more that 100 words but I would like to submit a poem which I wrote just for him and maybe this peom might help someone else in there time of loss.
SMUDGE
HE WAS A JOY TO HAVE,
A JOY TO HOLD,
A JOY FOR US,
HE WAS SO BOLD.
HE MADE US LAUGH,
HE ADE US CRY,
HE BROKE OUR HEARTS – WHEN HE DIED,
21-05-01 – 21-12-09
TO KNOW HIM WAS TO LOVE HIM
REST IN PEACE

Sadly Bella was put to sleep on the 02/08/10. Bella was a much loved
member of our family. She brought us so much love & joy to all of our
lives and to anyone who got to meet her. Bella was such a strong dog to
overcome breast cancer however sadly cancer got the better of her :-(

I will never ever ever forget Bella. She was given to me on my 6th
birthday as a suprise from my mum. Bella loved stealing everyones shoes
and sleeping with them. Bella cared so much for me and touched my life so
much. Growing up I would cry on her shoulder and she would lick away my
tears. She was my best mate and I’m just so devasted that she has been
taken away from me. I love you so much Bella and I cant wait till we meet
again.

I thought we would have many happy years together, my best mate. What fun it was watching you grow and learn all the different scents of quail, rabbits, lizards and snakes and for me to interpret your body language–how I loved our early morning walks through the paddocks. Now there is no one to greet me when I come home, no one to share my troubles–just a terrible sadness and memories of my gorgeous boy. So little time we had. I hope you are waiting at the Rainbow Bridge. Never forgotten.

Jarrah

We got Jarrah from a pug breeder in Dubbo N.S.W and flew him up to Cairns QLD.
We owned jarrah for a year.

Owners Names: Angie Dorosz & Paul Wachtel
Bentley park, Cairns QLD

We sadly lost Jarrah unexpectedly, there are no words to express how much we miss him. He was a dog that could not be replaced.
His funny animated character had everyone smiling, and his contagious energy for life made him so loveable. He would cheer me up after a hard day at work, and would sit and wait with loyalty for his daily walk. He would snuffle and snort to let us know that he is waiting..same time everyday. He was so smart and learned tricks so quickly like dragging in his rug and sitting up to beg before his bowl is laid down..

He followed us everywhere, and loved his monthly pug playgroup sessions. He loved everything and everyone, he will always be in our hearts our beautiful boy..Jarrah Rest In Peace…

Bailey

AKA: Bails, Bailsmiester

Golden Retriever
May 18, 2010 @ 3:45 PM
14 1/2 glorious years
Breeder in St. Albert, Alberta
14 1/4 years
Glenna Petherbridge
Edmonton, Alberta

He was the epitome of love, devotion & understanding. He will be missed almost more than can be put into words. He was my shadow, my friend. There was no other with a heart or love as big as this guy, he made friends both human & animal. His favorite thing was playing in the water, either fresh or ocean, and then flopping on the sand and giving a good roll and then a shake. He was devoted to our grandchildren of 15 & 12.

He passed quietly at home with my husband, daughter and myself. The vet came to our house and we were able to say goodbye to him with the dignity and love he deserved and earned. He will always be remembered and cherished, and I hope to see him in heaven and maybe we can play together again.
