Cindy

To my beautiful darling Cindy

A gorgeous Smithfield-border collie. Passed away on the 5th of August 2009.
She was taken from us at only 9 years of age by a vicious cancer. She was abandoned in a box thrown over a fence with her 6 brothers and sisters. She found me when I was at the Dogs Home in Risdon Vale Hobart. When we met she was sitting very quietly, staring at me, whilst her kin ran around like crazy guys.

You blessed me with a soul touching love, loyalty and companionship that I hope I could live up to.

Who rescued who?

Frankie

Frankie Green, “Whitehart The Prankster” (bred by Kath K.), our West Highland White Terrier, came into our lives 7th March 1992.

He brought us 17 1/2 years of joy, love, laughter and cuddles, and died today August 5 2009.

The sweetest sookiest feistiest little terror, always bursting with love.

Blind, deaf and lame in your recent years, but otherwise healthy and
happy, you never lost your appetite. You were eating your breakfast this morning and suddenly collapsed and died instantly.

We miss you baby – Mummy, Dada and Maddie

Coco

Our beautiful border collie Coco was sadly taken from us in January 09 aged 15.

We had Coco since she was a puppy, i will never forget the day she came home, she gave me the best childhood.

Coco spent most of her days chasing birds and turning our backyard into a race track, i guess that was the farm dog coming out. She always loved a long rub on the belly and occasionally getting into our beds and having a snuggle. Coco always wanted to be close to her owner Lee she never let her out of her sight even when you slowed down so much you still stayed by our side. We miss you so much coco, you were and will always be our bestfriend.

We know your looking down on us and we hope you are having the best time up in heaven! Until we meet again rest peacefully little mate we love you.

Archie

Archie

Archie aka Ackmed was a beautiful Tibetan Spaniel who we saved from a family who was unable to keep him.

His life with us we cherished, from the moment we bought him home I never stopped loving him.

I don’t know exactly how long we had him for, but during the many happy years he aquired a lot of friends, everybody loved our little eyebrow guy with his funny haircuts!!

He was cheeky and naughty and liked to lie, but also loved tickles & cuddles & baby talk! He was my muffin man, until a nasty tumor attacked his liver and cut his life short.

We will always remember our last day with him July 25th 2009, the saddest day of our lives, our little mudlark may you rest in peice with no more pain.

Your best friend,

Kristen

Ruby

Our dearly loved Ruby passed away on Wednesday night aged ten.

A more gentle, loving, loyal dog would be hard to find.

Loved by all who met her.

My wife and I are devastated at the void left in our lives.

Harry

Harry was a rescued Greyhound with a gentle soul and a beautiful spirit.

He was everybody’s favourite at the RSPCA shelter in Fairfield, QLD and
the carers still have fond memories.

He was 4 when he picked me out from the crowd.

Unfortunately just over a year later Harry got onto the street and was
struck by a car.

His vet, Joe Beckett, a beautiful human being herself, worked through
the night to save him, but sadly Harry bled out in the lung in the early
hours.

See you in Heaven old mate.
