Tackers was a blue point Birman born on 21st December 1993. We bought her
from Coral Pennisi at Salcora Cattery. Tackers was a beautiful soul and
part of my life for 15 years. In June 2007 she developed heart failure, but
being the battler she was, she fought this and tolerated all the many vet
visits and daily medications. I think she knew she was loved so much.
Sadly, on 15th March 2009 she finally succumbed to secondary heart failure
and died peacefully with her 3 humans and a very compassionate vet by her
side at the Queensland Veterinary Specialists’ at Chermside. She is missed
