Lillie came to us three weeks after our tabby cat, Megsie, had been put to sleep. I was still grieving and one night at work I heard Lillie in the garden. She was a little angel sent down to help me grieve. Four months old we tried to find her owners but to no avail.
We adopted Lillie into our lives and she soon became inseparable with her brother Smokie. Unfortunately on Sunday 1st July, Lillie was savagely mauled by two dogs in her own backyard. She fought a good fight for 3 days but after operations and the best of care at the Yarrawonga vet clinic, she passed on Wednesday 4th July from her injuries.
She has left a deep space in our hearts and although we only knew her for four years she will never be forgotten by her Mum, Dad and by her partner in crime Smokie. She is now with Megsie at Rainbow Bridge. Run free little nature girl.
