Max, Ruby & Larry

Max died on 13th March 2009 from a fatal heart attack at the age of 14.
He was obtained from the RSPCA Fairfield Shelter when he was 6 months of
age. He was a stray on the Gold Coast and was very skinny when we got
him. He was always beside my kids from babies, he took all the ear &
whisker pulling that kids could give him and not once in his life was he
ever aggressive towards the kids or anyone else. He was a true
gentleman and he will be sadly missed. Loving Always, your mum & dad,
Teyah & Jay xxx.

Ruby died on New Years Eve 2008 from a fatal Brown Snake Bite at the age
of 10 months. She was obtained from the RSPCA Fairfield Shelter when
she was 8 months of age. She was a loving little girl and fit right
into our family straight away, she loved life. Our family taught her to
swim and once she learnt you couldn’t get her out of the water. We were
swimming in our dam when Ruby was bitten by the Brown, we only noticed
once we were at the top of the hill and her eyes glazed over, she didn’t
make it to the vet in time. We loved you Ruby and you saddened us
deeply when you departed so soon in my son’s arms. Loving Always, your
mum & dad, Teyah & Jay xxx.

Larry was put down by the RSPCA Toowoomba on 28th October 2008. He had
been spooked by a rough storm with hail and had taken off. Unknown to
us a lady had picked him up and taken him to the RSPCA. I prompted
placed him on Pet D Tect with the RSPCA, 2 days after he went missing
(we have 174 acres so it did take a while to check the property
thoroughly). He was put to sleep despite being on Pet D Tect the next
week. Our older dog Max was struck down by a paralysis tick and hence
delayed our trip to the vet for Larry to have his microchipping and
desexing completed. Life’s not sometimes very fair, when it comes to a
fun loving dog like Larry. The kids were shattered to know that your
life was taken unnecessarily by someone else’s hands. Loving Always,
your mum & dad, Teyah & Jay xxx.
